Labyrinth – a single path winding this way and that towards the center, a place to rest and reflect, a contemporary contemplative practice.

What is a Labyrinth? A labyrinth is a single path or unicursal tool for personal, psychological, and spiritual transformation. Labyrinths are thought to enhance right brain activity.

How are they used? People walk the labyrinth for many reasons. Some do it to relax, some as a walking meditation, some just for fun. The center of the labyrinth represents your connection to the divine, your higher self and it is a place of unity and oneness.

How can a labyrinth help me? The labyrinth is a spiritual transformation power tool that answers our call to wholeness. It allows you to reach states of clarity during troubled times and turmoil. Its single winding path invites you to relax, give up control, and trust. Walking a labyrinth is a guided meditation which can help us to learn more about ourselves, get answers to questions in our lives, or set an intention for a class or workshop. We quiet our minds and then ‘walk’ the pathway. As in walking an actual labyrinth, this finger labyrinth engagement allows your conscious mind to step aside and your unconscious to reveal itself.

  • How do winding paths unravel our sense of space and time?
  • Why do some designs resonate for some but not others?
  • What labyrinth is right for you, your space, your budget, your body, your mind, your chapter of life?

Creating a true ‘sacred space’ takes the right balance of intention and tradition, imagination and implementation. Whether a path of prayer, mindful meditation, home for healing, or symbolic object, explore the art and soul of labyrinths with a Finger Labyrinth that you can use wherever you are.

Instructor: Christina Corbisello—Reiki Master, animal communicator, and artist—has been working with labyrinths more than 20 years. Recently having to sell a property where she had to leave her physical labyrinth, she began to create finger labyrinths to continue the work of walking our pathway. You will receive a one-of-a-kind finger labyrinth created by Christina just for you, along with all class materials.
